Charlie Sheen Will Be The Subject Of Comedy Central’s Next Roast
The jokes and jabs are bound to be disgusting, and I can’t wait. Charlie Sheen will be the subject of Comedy Central’s next roast, the network reps announced yesterday. The Comedy Central Roast Of Charlie Sheen will tape in Los Angeles on Sept. 10 and will premiere Sept. 19 (10 p.m. ET).

Ironically this is the same night that Ashton Kutcher will make his debut as Charlie’s replacement on the CBS sitcom Two and a Half Men. What a year it has been for Charlie, including a bizarre media tour and one-man showsaround the country, the roasters – who have yet to be announced – certainly won’t suffer from a lack of material. “Nothing will be off-limits,” according to a release from Comedy Central. Officially unemployed at the moment, the actor seems to be in good humor about the special. “You could say I’ve been providing kindling for this Roast for a while,” he said in the release. “It’s time to light it up. It’s going to be epic.” Previous Comedy Central roasts have featured celebrities like Donald Trump, Joan Rivers and Sheen’s pal David Hasselhoff. Thanks to People magazine for details.
