We first heard about Deb's story back in August. We were promoting her benefit planned to assist her with medical costs associated with the horrific disease, ALS. She and many other members of her family have been diagnosed with this debilitating illness, and some have passed away. On top of all of that, she is now suffering in more ways than imaginable. How could someone she thought of as a friend for so many years, allegedly, steal the majority of funds raised to help her financial survival? Now, her condition is worsening and she's battling not only the disease, but growing debt as well.

A GoFundMe page has been established to help in any way possible. It's called 'Deb's ALS Benefit Recovery Fund.' On the page it states,

Every expense that she has, is now compounded by the fact that she would have the money to cover it had this person not stolen it from her. Having a deadly disease is bad enough, but having someone steal from you when you are at the lowest point in your life is just unthinkable. Since almost all of the money raised was cash, there is very little chance of recovering it, the authorities do not offer much hope, and meanwhile Deb continues to decline and the debt continues to rise.

To reiterate, these are all of course allegations, but the fact remains Deb needs assistance. We wish her, and her family, the best of luck and well wishes. Nobody should have to go through what they are all going through. Donations of any kind can be made by visiting the GoFundMe page.
