Football isn't football without chili.  But at our house we have chili with a twist.  Chocolate chili is what's on the 'Lite Lunch' today since we had lots of leftovers.

Super Bowl Sunday is one time we cheat on healthy cooking because there is nothing healthy about my chocolate chili.  Maybe that's why it tastes so good.

Cook 3 pounds of hamburger and 2 pounds of sausage.  I use medium not hot since I'm a sissy when it comes to food that's too spicy.  Throw both in a large pot or crock-pot.  Add 2 large 0cans of diced tomatoes, 2 large cans of tomato sauce and4 cans of kidney beans.  I chopped 1 red onion, 1 green pepper, 4 jalapeno peppers and 4-5 stalks of celery.   Throw into pot.  Cook a pound of bacon and crumble into chili. Add a half cup of chili powder, 2 squares of unsweetened chocolate shaved, half cup of brown sugar, a teaspoon of cinnamon, a dash or two of Tabasco sauce,  a tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, a tablespoon of Italian seasoning, 1 tablespoon of garlic and a bottle of BBQ sauce.

Simmer all day.  The longer it cooks the better the flavors will blend.  Its even better the next day.
