Chris Daughtry loves being on the road and onstage.  He and his band begin a three week tour with 3 Doors Down on January 25th.  However, these days Daughtry is sounding less like a rock star and more like a devoted family man.

Daughtry tells People he's grown up, thanks to his two year old twins Noah James and Adalynn Rose.  They've changed him and now his focus is family and the happy life they have together.  He's not just thinking about family these days, but about giving back too, admitting he's been so blessed in his life.  The Sandy Hook shooting left him heartbroken, like so many other Americans, and he's donating one hundred percent of proceeds from his "Gone Too Soon" song to Connecticut School Shooting Victims Fund.  Daughtry also is helping fight famine in the Horn of Africa as an ambassador for the We Can Be Heroes campaign with DC Entertainment.  Not one to give advice, Daughtry stresses the importance of parents being there for their kids.  He saves work until they're asleep and tries to make every second count.  How about his romantic life? He and Deanna have been married for 12 years and make the time for date nights.  Sometimes that means going to a nice restaurant but more often than not it's sitting together on the couch at home watching a movie.
