Christmas is my favorite time of year. Every Christmas there are a list of classic Christmas shows that I MUST watch. Some of my family and friends laugh, but I don't care. I love watching these shows because they really put you in the Christmas spirit and remind me of being a little kid. Here are my top 5 classic Christmas shows to watch.

    'A Charlie Brown Christmas'

    Monday, December 5 (ABC)

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE, all the Charlie Brown classics but I definitely look forward to watching this one the most. I love how the show explains what Christmas really is about. But at the same time it pokes fun at the commercialization of Christmas. I also just love the end when they are altogether singing "Hark! The Harold Angels Sing". I love this Christmas classic so much I even have a Charlie Brown Christmas Tree that I received last Christmas for a decoration around my house.

    'Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer'

    Tuesday, November 29 (CBS)

'Rudolph the Red - Nosed Reindeer' is a classic everyone should watch. You can't go wrong with it. It has a great story and great music. I love the fact that Sam the talking snowman is singer Burl Ives. His Christmas CD is one of my favorites. Between the abominable snowman, Rudolph, Herbie, and the Island of Misfit Toys this story has everything sadness, adventure, and joy. Every kid should see it!

    'Frosty the Snowman'

    Friday, December 9 (CBS)

Frosty is a fun loving snowman that cares for his friends. If you love the song you will love the show. The show explains how he came to life just as it is told in the song. He takes care of his friend Karen when she gets cold on their way to the north pole. They run into some trouble but no need to worry as Santa is there to save the day!

    'How The Grinch Stole Christmas'

    Friday, December 2 (ABC Family)

The Grinch is a classic. It teaches the idea that you don't need all the lights and all the gifts for Christmas. It shows you that all you need is friends and family to celebrate the holiday. Plus who doesn't love the song "You're a Mean One, Mr. Grinch"?

    Christmas in Rockefeller Center

    Wednesday, November 30 (NBC)

With this Christmas special you get a HUGE Christmas tree and great Christmas music. I enjoy watching the lighting every year. Michael Buble will be there this year, along with Faith Hill, Cee Lo Green, and Javier Colon the winner of 'The Voice'. Maybe we will get lucky and see our winner Liz Eaton in the crowd since she will be down there to watch the tree lighting and meet Michael Buble.
