A Central New York man raked in the cash during a two-day run on the television game show "Jeopardy."

Osman Syed, a student from Jamesville, walked away with over $35,000 after coming in second place on his second day on the show.

According to Syracuse.com, during his first round, Syed easily won, leading the other competitors by $20,000 heading into the Final Jeopardy round. He finished with $33,333. On day two, he was leading by only a few hundred dollars as the Final Jeopardy round began, but ultimately ended as the runner-up, gaining another $2000.

All three contestants answered the Final Jeopardy question incorrectly:  "Translated from Roman numerals, '55' appears in luggage & watch product names from a company founded by this man." Each contestant guessed Versace, but the correct answer is Louis Vuitton.
