Another CNY singer has the chance to win it all on NBC's The Voice.

Last year, singer Ryan Quinn, from Westmoreland, advanced all the way to the live elimination round before being eliminated. Previously, Sawyer Fredericks of Fultonville, advanced to the finals. This year, Gary Carpentier of Oswego, who currently lives in Liverpool, has been added to Team Adam.

The 26-year-old Carpentier sang Michael Buble's hit "Home" and got choked up when Adam Levine turned around for him. According to his Voice bio, Gary felt that someone turning around for him would be "the biggest event of his life."

Adam Levine described Carpentier's voice as having a "smooth, rich tone" and being "like butter."

The 13th season of The Voice includes judges Miley Cyrus and Blake Shelton with Adam Levine.
