'Tis the season for giving, right? One woman in Central New York goes above and beyond during this time of the year, to make life better for those less fortunate.

We all want to help those in need during the holiday season, and most of us do what we can. Whether it's dropping a few bucks in a donation box or buying a toy or two for one of the many local toy collection programs that happen during this time of the year. But one woman takes the idea of "Random Acts of Kindness" to another level. She's someone who gets involved in many, MANY organizations to help those during Thanksgiving and Christmas. We're talking about Michele Mandia.

Karen, from Utica, shared Michele's story with us, and had some wonderful things to say about this generous woman. Karen wrote,

Michele Mandia is truly an unsung hero constantly doing Random Acts of Kindness. At Thanksgiving she helped at events, and donated to make life easier for those less fortunate.

Not only that, but Michele has a special toy drive to help make a child's Christmas a little brighter. Michele does a lot to help others during the holidays, but doesn't look at it as "doing a lot." She does it to be kind.

We love hearing stories like this. We love to hear about the random acts of kindness, the stories of strangers going out of their way to help others, and just all those feel-good stories that we don't hear often enough. It's nice to get a reminder of the kindness that's still out there.

Do you know someone who has done a good deed or random act of kindness? Share your ‘Lovin’ Moment’ and we’ll show you a “Little Lovin’” by putting you into a drawing to win a $50 McDonald’s gift card each month.
