College Tuition Protest

Going to college isn’t cheap.  Seems like tuition costs have been on the rise for a while.  What’s a college student to do?  A student in Colorado came up with a way to pay his tuition but show that he’s not happy with it.

Nic Ramos paid his tuition bill of $14,309.51 with dollar bills.  Thirty pounds worth of dollars bills!  It took three people at the bursar’s office an hour to count all the money.  He’s a sophmore at the University of Colorado at Boulder and paid the bill with dollar bills to protest the high cost of tuition.  By the way, he’s an economics major.  Could be worse.  At least he didn’t pay with loose change!
