Colonie Bakery Coccadotts Cake Shop Wins Food Network’s ‘Cupcake Wars’
So it looks like the Friendly Bake Shop isn't the only bakery making it big on TV. Let's take a trip to Albany where the Coccadotts Cake Shop won big on the Food Network's 'Cupcake Wars'.
Our friends survived three rounds of the competition to win $10,000 and and the chance to showcase their cupcakes at World Wide Entertainment's SummerSlam, a pay-per-view professional wrestling event.
It was the third time in two years that the Colonie, NY bakery competed on the popular Food Network Show, and the first time it beat out the three challenging teams.
At the start of the show, Cocca-Dott told the judges that this was the bakery's third attempt."I need to win because I failed twice miserably. As a mom of a little boy who absolutely loves wrestling, we have to win," she said.
