It was quite the opening day at Coney Island. The infamous wooded roller coaster, The Cyclone got stuck after barely pulling out of the station. Luckily no one was injured, but the dozen passengers had to be escorted off the ride and down the tracks.

Luna Park, the company that operates the Cyclone, posted a message on Facebook, saying it was an 'isolated issue' and no one was injured. The ride will re-open Saturday April 4th after 'proper inspection' and everyone involved will be allowed to ride for free.

Will those riders really want to board again after getting stuck? Would you?

The Cyclone opened on June 26, 1927 and was declared a New York City landmark on July 12, 1988. It was also placed on the National Register of Historic Places on June 26, 1991.
