Cory Booker Shouts Out to Ithaca Mayor Svante Myrick on Twitter

Cory Booker, the mayor of Newark, New Jersey, and the unofficial mayor of Twitter, gave some social media love to Ithaca mayor Svante Myrick recently.
In a conversation thread started by Walter Nearly, Booker stated that Ithaca’s Myrick is “a truly great mayor. A rising star.” The tweets are below.

Svante Myrick was sworn in as Ithaca mayor on New Year’s Day 2012.
Booker has become known for assisting his constitutions via his Twitter feed, is a rising national political star and is eyeing a Senate run in 2014.
