It’s getting to be that time of year, and The CW is going all-in with its formal renewals. Good news has arrived for fans of Black Lightning, Arrow, Flash, Riverdale, Supernatural and more, but who got left in the post-apocalyptic cold?

First and foremost, The CW continues to go for broke with its superhero shows; Black Lightning is renewed for Season 2, Arrow for Season 7, The Flash for Season 5, and Supergirl and Legends of Tomorrow for Season 4. Freshman series Dynasty has been renewed for a second season, while – on the other end of that spectrum – Supernatural has parlayed its Scooby success into a fourteenth (!) season. That’s 300 episodes territory, but stars and creators have walked back suggestions they might end the series with it.

Elsewhere, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend has been renewed for a fourth season, and Jane the Virgin a fifth. Both are believed to be the last, as Crazy was always intended as a four-year story, while Jane star Gina Rodriguez confirmed early on Season 5 would end the series. Left out in the cold for the moment are iZombie (now in Season 4) and The 100 (entering Season 5), along with likely-to-be-canceled newcomers Valor and Life Sentence.

Also worth noting is that The CW is expected to start airing Sunday programming next season, so which of your faves should kick off the new (old) lineup?
