James Maslow and his 'Dancing With the Stars' partner Peta Murgatroyd got their 'Grease' on during last night's (April 21) episode, dancing the Quickstep to 'You're the One That I Want.' They were coming off a perfect score last week, so to say that expectations for this week's fancy footwork were high would be an understatement and underselling the pressure that is building up as the competition intensifies.

The Big Time Rush member said he was stoked about doing this dance, since he felt a connection to the iconic Danny Zuko character and to the story and plot, because he performed in a production of 'Grease' in high school!

While it was a fun dance, it was not up to par with last week's perfection. The judges felt the technique left a little to be desired and that the dance was not as sharp as they were hoping or as sharp as it could have been, even if the two did vacillate between the traditional dance of the Quickstep and the musical theatricality of 'Grease.'

That said, the judges once again reaffirmed that James Maslow is undoubtedly a leading man who mixes athleticism with artistry in his dancing. Oh, and he is charming and cute, too!

James Maslow has earned the rep as a serious contender on Season 18 of 'DWTS.' The judges love him and his feet ain't failing him. He is so easy to watch as he glides across that floor.
