This Friday night, NBC's highly-rated "Dateline" will air an hour-long episode based on the 1994 kidnapping and presumed killing of Heidi Allen in Oswego County.  62-year-old Gary Thibodeau is serving 25 years to life in prison after being found guilty of the crime, but claims her was wrongly convicted.

The 18-year old Allen was abducted in April of '94, but her body was never found.  Two years ago, Thibodeau asked a judge to overturn his conviction based on new evidence he says was withheld before his trial.  Two months ago, that request was denied.  The case has now gone to an appeals court.

"Dateline" has interview Thibodeau, his attorney, the Oswego County Sheriff and the DA over the past several month.  The episode will air this Friday night at 10.
