Daybreak Diner on River Road in Marcy Closes for Good

There's suddenly one less option for breakfast in Marcy. The Daybreak Diner on River Road has closed for good.

The diner, which opened in 2016 in the former Sharyn's Place location, announced their July 1st closure on Facebook with only a few days warning to customers.

"Good morning Diner Family :) as many of you know we are a family ran business & our family life is of great importance to us!

For quite some time now we have been climbing an uphill mountain trying to find help that will put in as much heart as we do to serve our dedicated customers for us to be able to keep our customers happy without losing OUR FAMILY TIME!

As hard of a decision it was to make we have decided that in the best interest of our business, our family to make our final day open July, 1st, 2018!

We are the type of people that put their all into everything we do and instead of allowing our business to run without us being there which we were not comfortable with we felt this was the best choice for our family & our business to close down at this time but still to provide our customers with the best food and customer service we can until our final day this Sunday!

We would like to Thank each and every one of you for your continued support, awesome reviews & for making it a great experience in this journey!

We ask you to understand from OUR FAMILY to all our DINER FAMILY it was our pleasure to serve you, the time has come though to Cherish the valuable time with our daughters, grandchildren and other family members! It only comes once in a lifetime & too valuable to miss out on!

The diner featured standard breakfast and luncheon food, while the classic stainless steel diner exterior brought a sense of history to the commercial River Road. The closure means diners will have one less option in Marcy.
