The recent rain in central New York has closed flooded roads and left rivers raging. The Delta Dam in the Mohawk River has minor flooding.

Water levels at the Delta Dam were at 551.9 feet this morning at 6:45. Flood stage is 551.5 feet according to the National Weather Service. Thanks to Kenneth Cahill, Adam Kraszewski and Mike Jones for providing great photos and video of the dam this morning.

The Mohawk River isn't the only place seeing flooding. The Black River is near flood stage in Boonville. Mindy Mooney Maz sent video from Forestport where the river rages.

Central New York remains under a flood watch until Saturday. Although there was a break from the rain yesterday for most areas, more is in the forecast today and tomorrow.

Mohawk Street in Whitesboro has been closed on and off for the past few days as well as River Street in Oriskany.

The Mohawk River at Pinti Field in Rome was near flood stage yesterday. With more rain in store, water is sure to wash over the banks and into the park. The trails are already being washed out.
