Demi Lovato Unfollows Selena Gomez, Posts (and Deletes) Shade Message?
That’s the big question Lovatics and Selenators have been asking after fans noticed that Lovato unfollowed Gomez on Twitter earlier this week. As of today, Saturday, Lovato has not added Gomez back, but Gomez is still following Lovato.
What raised eyebrows even further was when Lovato apparently tweeted (and the later) deleted a message targeted at Gomez the same day.
The tweet had the word “Bye” along with a photo of Lovato photoshopped in an ocean with the text: “Swimming away / From your bulls–t / Bye b—h.” Oh No They Didn’t has a screengrab of the deleted tweet.
So far, neither Lovato or Gomez have made any comments regarding their friendship, and despite a string of recent Twitter hacks involving celebrities (including Chris Colfer and Lea Michele), Lovato hasn’t come forward claiming she didn’t write the message.
In Dec. 2013, Gomez said about her friendship with Lovato, “I think what people forget is that she’s actually been there for me, too. I’ve known her since she was 7. I will always cherish her — she’s like my sister.”
