Destiny USA Adds Privacy Pods for Breastfeeding Moms

Destiny USA is supporting breastfeeding mothers by providing private spaces where they can nurse their children.

The Syracuse mall has installed two 'privacy pods' on the first floor. The pods are provided by Mamava. The freestanding lactation suites are designed to accommodate working and traveling nursing moms providing them with a comfortable and dignified space to pump or feed privately. The suites feature benches, a fold-down table, an electrical outlet for plugging in a breast pump, space for bags or a stroller, and a door that can be locked for privacy.

The privacy pods at Destiny USA are sponsored by Onondaga County and Kinney Drugs.
