Temperatures reached the upper 70s and lower 80s in Central New York, but did we break records for October 18th?

Utica tied the 1963 record of 82 degrees. Syracuse was 1 degree short of the 1947 record of 83. Binghamtom, Albany, Poughkeepsie and Glens Falls all saw the warmest day on record according to the National Weather Service.

82 Utica (tied 1963)
82 Syracuse (83 in 1947)
77 Binghamton (76 in 1963)
84 Albany (82 in 1968)
84 Poughkeepsie (82 in 1963)
84 Glens Falls (76 in 1968)

Not bad for a day that last year had snow in Central New York.
