Lady GaGa showed us that she is truly a student of theater in her opening monologue for the MTV Video Music Awards Sunday night. Dressed in drag as her male alter ego Jo Calderone, Gaga talked about the woes of being Gaga’s lover before delivering a high-energy performance of her new song, “You And I.” I think we could of done without the cigarette though.
And Lady Gaga’s disguise didn’t end there – Fox News is reporting that Lady Gaga used the men’s restroom while dressed in drag. Fox quotes an insider as saying to FOX411’s Pop Tarts that Gaga spent the day using the men’s room. Wow, talk about getting into character. Insert your joke here …
