Dieting Dachshund Loses 75% of His Body Weight. Now He’s Ripped! [Watch]

Dennis the Dachshund use to consume whole pizzas, large quantities of White Castle cheeseburgers, and a dog house full of chickens (as in McNuggets.) He was obese. Then something amazing happened!

Dennis use to weigh in at a whopping 56lbs!  That's equivalent to the size of 5 Dachshunds combined. Dennis use to mope around the house with a sad look on his face. He was so depressed; all he would do is lie around and eat. But that was before he met his new owner Brooke Burton.

Burton, a registered nurse, persuaded the previous owner to lend the pooch to her and he obliged. Burton convinced Dennis to give up his habit of gorging on fast food, and he was put on a low calorie diet:

Before his dramatic transformation Burton said:

"I wasn't even sure what breed of dog he was supposed to be because he was so large."

After being placed in the loving care of Brooke, Dennis lost an unbelievable 43lbs! Dennis now enjoys playing in the yard, chasing chipmunks, and running after the mailman. He couldn't be happier. He's even been spotted looking at himself in the mirror from time to time, because even he can't believe the new Dennis!
