Drums Along the Mohawk Tour Award Winners from Utica and New Hartford

Drums Along the Mohawk drum and bugle corps competition returns to RFA Stadium in Rome on Thursday and for thier 20th year, they are helping New York musicians be a part of a touring corps.

6 muscians will be given tour awards that help defray costs to being in a drum corps.

Two local musicians will be among the award winners.

Kayleigh Hind is from New Hartford and attends Cornell University.  She is marching this year with Carolina Crown.

London Rowland is from Utica, attended New Hartford High School and is marching with 7th Regiment in New London, Connecticut.

Tickets for Drums Along the Mohawk are still available.
