I know it's pretty late in the afternoon. However, if you've gotten your Iced Coffee at some point today, Dunkin Donuts is giving back to the community with part of your purchase!

From every cup of Iced Coffee sold at participating Dunkin’ Donuts locations in Central New York today, May 23rd, $1 will directly benefit Food Bank of Central New York.

The Food Bank of Central New York partners with 262 emergency food programs in the counties of Cayuga, Chenango, Cortland, Herkimer, Jefferson, Lewis, Madison, Oneida, Onondaga, Oswego, and St. Lawrence. It's really great that Dunkin Donuts is teaming up with them to give back, with your help!

“We truly appreciate our ongoing partnership with Dunkin Donuts. Through Iced Coffee Day, the Food Bank is able to provide additional food supplies to the communities we serve. Last year Iced Coffee Day raised over $30,000 to provide more than 90,000 meals." said Kathleen Stress, executive director of Food Bank of Central New York to CNY Central.

All Dunkin Donuts locations in the Syracuse and Mohawk Valley areas have been participating in the cause today.

Ever since I can remember, Dunkin Donuts has been a really large contributor to communities across the US. They also have their own foundation, The Joy in Childhood, which "provides the simple joys of childhood to sick and hungry kids," according to their website.

Did you get your coffee today? If so, thank you! If not, maybe get it tonight before bed and stick it in the refrigerator for tomorrow? Or just drink it tonight. Which ever.
