Eighty Eight Year Old Weds Longtime Sweetheart

If you’re the kind of person who loves great love stories, you may want some tissues for this. A Maine couple has proved that true love knows no age limits. Eighty eight year old Paul Walker married his longtime sweetheart, 87 year old Ann Thayer, in a Lewiston rehabilitation center Tuesday in front of family and friends.

According to Yahoo News, the love birds met at church and dated 17 years. They decided to tie the knot after some gentle teasing from the staff at a hospital last week. Ann visits Paul every day at the Marshwood Center, where he is rehabilitating. She says she has had some "beautiful years" with him. Our love birds have been talking about a honeymoon in Bermuda once Paul feels better.
