Elton John Despises The British Press

Note to the British media, Elton John is not a fan.  That's putting it lightly.  He didn't pull any punches about his feelings toward the British media in an interview with Barbara Walters. 

Elton told Barbara that while he loves Britain, he hates their media and the whole paparrazi mentality.  What really bugs him is the constant negativity and the nastiness.    He told Barbara, "You know there's one thing in the world, if I could get rid of, is that negativity in the British press.  That hatefulness, that horrible nastiness that we have pervades our British media.  I'm sorry we have it but we do.  And we have to live with it because it's a great country, but it's one thing about Britain that sucks."  Do you think the paparrazi goes too far with celebrities?
