During the month of October Lite 98.7 is conducting our second annual paranormal investigation series with the NY Shadowchasers.

Our first investigations were held over the weekend at Erie Canal Village in Rome.  I attended investigations on both Friday and Saturday night.  I have to admit, I saw, heard, smelled and felt things I couldn't explain.

One of the hot spots on the grounds of Erie Canal Village is the site of Fort Bull.   Fort Bull was the site of a massacre during the French and Indian War.  During our visit on Friday night we all heard the sound of cannon fire and smelled a sulfurous burn in the air.  On Saturday night I captured an odd photo at Fort Bull that you see to the right.  There is no tree in the middle ground were a ghostly apparition appears.

More investigations in the series are planned for the Collinwood Inn of Oneida, Capitol Theatre in Rome, Remsen Depot and Stone Meeting House in Remsen.
