The fourth annual Child Passenger Safety Program will take place Wednesday, July 10th from 11am to 2pm at the St. Luke’s Campus of Faxton St. Luke’s Healthcare. If a child car seat is found to be unsafe, the New Hartford Police Department will provide a new child car seat and properly install it in the vehicle.

The FSLH Security Team and New Hartford Police Department will inspect cars free of charge to ensure car seats are properly installed in the vehicles.

If a child car seat is found to be unsafe, the New Hartford Police Department will provide a new child car seat and properly install it in the vehicle. The car seats are provided at no charge through a New York State grant.

“This event is always very successful and we appreciate the support and involvement from law enforcement in our community,” said Matthew Gabriel, security officer at FSLH. “We are hoping for another good turnout this year.”
