The Ava Dorfman Center has announced several community classes for the week of February 9-16, 2018.

Back by popular demand! The Ava Dorfman Center presents “Never Trust a Skinny Chef”, Fine Dining Night

Tuesday, February 13, 2018 from 5:00-8:00pm, collaborating with DiCastro’s Brick Oven restaurant.  Event is co-sponsored by CDPHP Health Insurance.  Menu includes 4 courses and dinner is served as it is made on stage. Free Diabetes Self-Management Class! This is a 6 week course that meets for 2.5 hours, once a week, on Fridays, from 1:00-2:30pm, here at the Ava Dorfman Center.  This class is designed to help people with Type 1, Type 2 and gestational Diabetes. This class builds on the Chronic Disease Self-Management Class, which ends February 9th, while putting more emphasis on Diabetes. You will receive a book and CD to use during class.  First class begins Friday, February 16th at 1:00pm.  Must have 10 to run the class, sign up now in office or call (315) 337-8230.
