The first annual festival CageFest at the Utica Zoo will take place on August 24th from 11AM - Midnight at the Deerfield Firemans Field. This will be a family friendly event. All proceeds benefit the Utica Zoo's sea lion exhibit.

Our goal has been to create fun and unique events that not only will you remember, but also respect. CageFest is surely going to continue this philosophy! We strive to give back to a community that has helped us so much!

This year CageFest (The Utica Zoo Edition) will be held on Saturday, Aug. 24 from 11a.m.-Midnight at the Deerfield Firemans Field and will be a family friendly event with many attractions to be announced soon.

We are also bringing you a CageFest Pre-Party on Friday, Aug. 23 at Club Piccolo on 807 Broad St. Utica, N.Y. from 9 p.m. - 2 a.m.!

8/24- Headliner: Blanco Diablo (Dark Lord Records - Sony/ATV) - They are a 3 piece hard rock band from Charlotte, NC.

The tracks from their new album "Attack the Fire" were recorded and produced in the UK by Grammy nominated producer Chris Tsangarides (Thin Lizzy, Anvil, Gary Moore, Judas Priest, Depeche Mode, Tragically Hip).
