Utica Ruck Walk for Veteran Suicide Awareness

Sunday, October 2nd is the Inaugural Utica Ruck Walk for Veteran Suicide Awareness, presented by Adirondack Bank. During this two mile walk from East Utica to Genesee Street, participants will carry donation items for the Central New York Veteran’s Outreach Center in their “rucks,” or backpacks. Upon conclusion, all donations will go to the Veterans Outreach Center. Participants will then be invited to a post-walk Resource Fair at the Radisson. There they will have the chance to talk to representatives from a variety of veteran’s assistance organizations, with a focus on suicide awareness and prevention resources for both veterans and their families, friends and neighbors. Food and beverages will be also be available!
