Whether it was riding the carnival attractions, eating a corndog or putting mustard in someone's shoes in the 4-H barn, the annual county fair was always a big part of summer growing up.  That part of summer begins July 28 at the Boonville-Oneida County Fair . Here's a list of daily activities.

The 127th fair gates officially open at 8 a.m. Tuesday, July 28 with children's day all day, the Coleman's Brothers midway opening at noon.  The parade is at 7 and the Nelson Brothers are the 1st night's entertainment at 8.

One day tickets for adults are $5, Seniors $3 and kids up to 12 years old are free.  An Adult Fun Pass is available for unlimited admissions at the price of $20.  There's free admission from 5 to 7 on opening day.  You can follow the Boonville Oneida County Fair on their Facebook page and get a complete schedule of events at their website.
