Bobbi Kristina Brown is being urged by family and friends to enter rehab after the funeral of her mother, Whitney Houston.TMZ reports that Houston’s family is determined to get Bobbi Kristina into a live-in rehabilitation center as soon as possible. Sources say the 18-year-old daughter of Houston and ex husband Bobby Brown has battled substance abuse for three to four years now, and they fear she will face the same fate as Houston.

However, Houston’s family are being understanding while trying to get her help. Reports suggest that they will give Bobbi Kristina a bit of time to grieve her mother immediately following today’s funeral. They hope to have her in a 60-day in-patient treatment center soon.

It’s a smart move on the family’s part. They fear that Houston’s beloved daughter may be suicidal (likely triggered by the sudden loss). Last week, Bobbi Kristina was hospitalized twice immediately following Houston’s death, once for stress and once for mixing prescription sedatives with alcohol — the same deadly cocktail that likely did Houston in. There were even reports that Bobbi Kristina had a similar, terrifying bathtub incident weeks before her mother’s passing.

Bobby Brown released a statement on his daughter’s health last week. “Today my daughter did visit with doctors at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles,” he said of her hospitalization. “She has been released and is presently with my family, including her siblings. Obviously the death of her mother is affecting her, however, we will get through this tragedy as a family. Again, I ask for privacy during this time.”

We wish Houston’s family the best and sincerely hope Bobbi Kristina gets the help that she needs.
