Find Coupons and Save Money Using Twitter

Last time I shared my money saving tips, I suggested liking your favorite stores on Facebook? How is that working for you? I hope well, especially with the holidays right around the corner. Since the last time I talked to you about money saving I’ve joined Twitter. After joining I realized that I found another great way to find out about more money saving deals.

If you’re already on Twitter, great! If not, you might want to consider it just for the deals you can find. Create your account and if you want follow me, I’m virtual_vicky. You can look at my followers or see who I’m following and follow some of them for coupon and saving tips. Stores promote their weekly or daily specials on Twitter. So if you don’t receive the weekly Sunday newspaper this is a great way of seeing what’s on sale during the week. Even if you do see the weekly ads I recommend it for the Twitter specials or contests that some stores hold. I’ve even begun following my favorite brands. They offer different contests and talk about new items that they are selling. This way I’m always in the know!

Some of our local area businesses are jumping on the Twitter train too. If they aren’t tweeting a sale, they are tweeting new items or special store hours. It’s always helpful to know what’s going on with our local stores.

Afraid you will have to tweet if you join twitter? Don’t worry, you don’t have to tweet anything if you don’t want to. You can just read your Twitter feed and get the deals you might be looking for. So sign up and save!
