Everyone knows about the Boilermaker Post Race Party at the F.X. Matt Brewery in Utica, but do you know about everything that happens at the party?

Thousands upon thousands of people headed to the Saranac Brewery after the Boilermaker Road Race for the huge after party. The courtyard was filled with runners, spectators, local officials, and everyone else who felt like celebrating this special event in Utica.

Now, I've been to the Boilermaker a few times - Standing on the course, cheering on the runners. This was the first year I headed to the after party, which is almost as amazing as the race itself. Do you know everything that happens at the after party? Do you know about the fly-over?

As the race is finishing up, everyone piles into the courtyard of the F.X. Matt Brewery. They announce the winners of the race, their times, and the amount of money the winners received. After that, Ryan Quinn headed to the stage to sing the National Anthem, and then it happened. The fly-over.

It was such an amazing sight - As the World War II planes took to the sky right after the national anthem. They flew by multiple times, flying in tight circles around the brewery, over the new Utica Club sign, and all around.

Then of course, the party really took off with the live music, drinks, dancing, and celebrating of another amazing Boilermaker.

If you head out to the Boilermaker, but you have never stayed for the after party, it is something you should check out - At least once! Even if you're not there for the music or drinks, go for the runners, go for the planes... Go for the experience.
