Woodland Farm Brewery in Utica has been serving food for a few months now, but we finally got a chance to stop in and try it.

If you've ever been to Woodland, you know in the past there was (almost) always a food truck on-hand with tasty snacks and treats to enjoy while you had a few adult beverages. Well earlier this summer, Woodland announced that they had opened their own kitchen and would start serving food in-house.

I had heard about it and wanted to try it for quite some time, but you know how summer is - busy, busy, BUSY. Luckily, I finally got the chance to visit the brewery again, see what's changed over the last few months, and check out the menu.

Now, in no way am I trying to sell you something, or advertise for Woodland Farm Brewery, I just like trying new things, like when a place starts serving food. This isn't to say, "hey, you need to go to Woodland," it's more of if you've ever been curious about the new food they offer, here's what I think...

Cuban Panini with Chips, From Woodland Farm Brewery

That's a good looking sandwich, right? Well, that would be the "Dunder Mifflin," which is the name for their special of the day. It was actually a Cuban Panini with pork, ham, mustard, pickles, and cheese. And yes, I thought it was delicious.

'The Michael' Panini From Woodland Farm Brewery

That is "The Michael," a fully-loaded grilled cheese panini, that my fiance added bacon to (because why not). Of course I had to take a bite of that one too, and it didn't disappoint.

Woodland's menu also includes paninis like "The Stanley" with steak, roasted peppers, and other goodies, and "The Jim," which is made with roast beef. I'm sure you'll notice the theme of these menu items. Oh and just a heads up, not everything on the menu is a panini, but the majority of the items are. Just FYI.

It's definitely a good addition to the brewery - It's always good to be able to have a snack or meal, especially if you're spending a few hours drinking local craft beer.
