It doesn't take long for medical bills to pile up, even if you're lucky enough to have good health insurance.  Imagine being able to see a doctor any day of the week for just five bucks.  Too good to be true?  Nope, it's the real deal with a doctor in Illinois.

Dr. Russell Dohner has been practicing medicine since the 1950's.  Back then, he charged patients two dollars for an office visit.  He told Pe0ple he  raised his rate to five dollars in the 1970's and hasn't raised his office visit rate since. Dr. Dohner doesn't accept insurance and also draws no salary, instead living off the money from his farm. He also works seven days a week and hasn't take a vacation in 57 years. Donner, who is 87, works with his longtime nurse Florence, who is 88. His practice is thriving and he says many people come to him because they can't afford anybody else. No wonder he's working seven days a week!
