Grab a chair and a friend and head down to Utica's Franklin Square this summer for Films Under The Stars, the return of the Franklin Square Movie Series.

The folks at Made in Utica have teamed up with Bite Bakery and Nomad Cinema to bring you a free movie series throughout the summer.

The series kicks off on May 20 with 'Back To The Future' and continues each month during the summer.

All movies are held outdoors and under the stars so you get a fantastic drive-in movie feel, while Bite Bakery provides movie snacks and drinks.

Here's the full summer lineup:

  • Back to The Future - May 20
  • E.T. - June 17
  • Independence Day - July 22
  • Wall-E - August 19
  • Guardians Of The Galaxy - September 16

Each of the movies are free to attend and begin around sundown.

Seating is first come, first served and you do have to bring your own chairs.
