Sign Up For A Free Vacant Home Check In Rome

Going away next week? Want to make sure your house is safe while you're gone? If you live in Rome, you can sign up for a free vacant home check from the Rome Police Department.

The Rome Police Department is reminding all Rome residents who may be going on a trip or who are leaving their home vacant for an extended period of time to sign up for Rome P.D. vacant home checks. All you have to do is simply fill out a Vacant Home Form. Once you fill that out, return it to the department.

Officers will perform exterior checks of your home while you are away and notify you or your designee of any problems. Again, this is a FREE service.
