From Happy Days Comes ‘Lavern & Shirley’ [VIDEO]

One of the most successful series of the 1970s was Happy Days, a show that was set in Milwaukee, the heart of middle-class America. Guess who also lived in Milwaukee? Lavern & Shirley, who lived in a basement apartment on Knapp Street (a real street near the Schlitz Brewery in Milwaukee), where the feet of pedestrians can be seen from their front window.
I really got a kick out of them yelling upstairs to neighbors Lenny and Squiggy. Remember the time they got stuck in the dumbwaiter shaft connecting their apartments? Or how about the time they won the Supermarket sweep?

The show ran on ABC from 1976 to 1983.
