Fun Times: Annual ‘United Way Tailgate Party’ in Herkimer

Sunday January 24th get ready for some hard hitting football action at the Waterfront Grille in Herkimer. It's the United Way of the Valley and Greater Utica Area's Annual Tailgate Party.

The United Way is constantly thinking up creative ways to help out those less fortunate here in the Mohawk Valley. Over the summer, they gathered volunteers to beautify Herkimer. They spent the day cleaning up litter, painting, and planting mums. Now they're hosting another event in Herkimer.

Come on out for celebratory good time watching the football playoffs. This sounds like it will be a blast regardless of whether or not your team made it in this year.

It will be hosted by Assemblyman Marc Butler and Rocky and Barb Fiato. There will be "All You Can Eat,"  food, excellent door prizes, plenty of raffles, and more than enough TV's to watch all of the games.The event cost $20.00 and all proceeds benefit United Way of the Valley and Greater Utica Area.
