We take this week's 'Get Organized' segment to the Utica Observer Dispatch. And this week, Deb Cabral has a great tip that will save you a little bit of extra time every day.

First of all, we want to thank Deb Cabral for joining us again, and giving us all these great tips and tricks to help us get organized in a variety of areas in our lives. This week, we took the "Get Organized" segment to the Observer Dispatch, where Deb Cabral writes a column for. That's right, you can get your organizing tips from the "Organized In 60 Seconds" website, Deb Cabral's Facebook Page, from our own "Get Organized with Naomi Lynn" segments on Lite 98.7, The DeClutter Coach website, AND in the Observer Dispatch newspaper.

So this week's tip has to deal with saving a few seconds each day, which may not seem like a big deal, but it will add up to hours by the end of the year. Imagine what you could do with 4 or 5 extra hours?!

In the video (at the top of this page), Deb Cabral mentions that she's a visual person, she likes to see things color-coded, because that's one way she stays organized. She explains that she color codes her keys to save time and energy. In the video, Deb suggests using paint or nail polish and paint the top of each key on your key-ring a different color. It may seem like a small thing to do, but small changes can save you lots of time in the long run.

Deb Cabral even breaks it down for us: If you save 10 to 15 seconds a day, that adds up to around 5 minutes a week, which turns into 20 minutes a month, and about 4 hours a year.

And think about what you can do with that extra time... Again, it may not seem like a lot, but it adds up. Maybe end your month with a massage??

We want to thank Deb Cabral for joining us again, and sharing this great trick to help us all save a little bit of time. Make sure you keep an eye out for all our "Get Organized" segments, which can be found at the link below:
