Deb Cabral joins us again with another great tip to help us get organized. This week, she shows us how little pouches can keep a variety of items neat and organized.

First of all, Deb Cabral explains that we're talking about those small pouches that you get sometimes with makeup, or when you buy travel containers and they come in a small cloth holder. Those pouches can be put good use. In the video (at the top of this page), Deb Cabral shows us some of the ways you can use those pouches to get other items organized.

The great thing about these little pouches is they come in all sorts of shapes and sizes so you can put them to use in a variety of ways. Deb Cabral suggests (in the video) creating a first-aid kit with one of the pouches. You can easily store a few band-aids, alcohol wipes, and disinfectant cream. And you can keep that pouch in your purse, car, or wherever.

The video also says you can use these little pouches to store an emergency makeup kit, dental items (for when you're on the go), coupons, jewelry, small electronics, travel documents, and so many other items.

My favorite tip from the video was the "car kit" you can create with these little pouches. Fill a little pouch with small games (like already made tic-tac-toe sheets, hangman sheets, and dots), a few crayons, and other small items to keep the kids busy. Deb Cabral mentions that she used to create a "car kit" for her kids when they were young to keep them occupied on long car trips. She says you can even make one of these "car kits" for adults with some healthy snacks and whatever items you would like. But it will keep everything organized, instead of trying to find what bag you put the treats in, or worrying if they'll roll under the seat and go missing.

Again, most of these pouches already come with items you buy, so you don't have to pay anything to get them and put them to good use. But if you would like to pick some up, Deb Cabral says you can easily find them at a dollar store. So you don't have to spend a bunch, to get organized.
