Ghostly Figure Appears Behind Erin Potter, Child Battling Leukimia
A family in Kirtland Ohio believes that they have proof that someone was watching over their daughter Erin Potter as she battled leukemia. The family believes that the figure in question resembles the Virgin Mary and according to Erin's mother, Jen Potter it isn't a coincidence.
Jen stated:
"My reaction immediately, it's Mary, they hear us, she's there."
The photo in question shows their daughter Erin running through a field with a sparkler in each hand at night. A distorted figure in red appears behind Erin's right shoulder with arms open and eyes looking downward.
Erin Potter was diagnosed with leukemia in February 2007 and subsequently underwent several bone marrow transplants to combat three bouts of cancer. The photo was reportedly taken when Erin was preparing for her second transplant. Erin is currently cancer free.
