Greg Penree was out riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle with his wife when he had an accident that claimed his life. Now, a community is pulling together to help the family he left behind.

Greg loved to ride his Harley Davidson motorcycle. He and his wife, Tammy, would go out and ride - each on their own bike - regularly. It was the activity that they did together. Tammy was riding behind Greg on that fateful day, and watched as the entire scene unfolded. More than anything though, the New Hartford Dad loved his family - his wife, Tammy, and his two young children, Tyler, 15, and Lexi, 10.

A Go Fund Me has been set up to raise money to support the family after the loss of their patriarch.

"These wonderful people suffered a tragic loss.  On June 7th,  the Penree’s life as they knew it came crashing down.  And it will never be the same.  But with the love, support and the generosity of family, friends and even strangers… anyone who feels compelled to contribute to this fund, they can begin to pick up the pieces and re-build.

Please help change this tragedy into a story of generosity and community support  by making a donation.  Every little bit counts.  ANY AMOUNT, NONE TOO SMALL. Every penny will be greatly appreciated."

What's more, is that Harley-Davidson of Utica will match all donations made to the Penrees, according to WKTV.com.
