I remember when I was a kid, NORAD was all the rage on Christmas Eve. My cousins and I would spend the whole night keeping everyone updated about where in the world Santa was. At the time, NORAD was the only Santa Tracker - but Google teams up with the famous tracking team to launch their own each year. It's back, bigger and better than ever!

There's more to the website than just seeing where the big guy is, even though that's the most important. Since it's not Christmas Eve, they have a whole 'village' of Christmas games and activities available so can have some fun while waiting.

Google announced that they have 24 educational games, including a game to design your own elf, and a 'Wrap Battle' game that is super similar to the game Dance Dance Revolution. You can even write some post cards to Santa!

“One of the hardest parts about being married to Santa is that he always forgets to let me know where he is,” said Mrs. Claus, the vice president of product for Santa’s Village and Santa Tracker, in a Google blog post. “This year, I’ve enlisted our elite team of cartographelves to let everyone know where he is as soon as he takes off from the North Pole. In the days leading up to Christmas, Santa will share his location with you on Google Maps so you can see his travels as he moves across the map. Follow along with him there or on our Santa Tracker dashboard on Dec. 24 so you don’t miss his visit.”

The website is also available on smart phone devices, according to Newsweek.
