Hamilton College Alert Lifted, Officials Say There Was No Threat On Campus

An alert issued on the campus of Hamilton College Friday morning has been lifted and school officials are now saying there was no actual threat to students, faculty or staff.

She says a Shelter in Place alert was then issued.  It was later determined by campus safety that there was no weapon.

Kirkland Police and the Oneida County Sheriff's Office responded to the campus for the incident.
