The Utica Comets are getting together for a great cause and you can be a part of it. The best part? It's not a drawing, or a contest, all you have to do is show up.

Can you imagine playing air hockey, or shooting baskets with your favorite Comets players? What if your favorite skater poured you a drink at the bar? Well, this Sunday (March 29) is your lucky day! The Comets along with New York State Tool, Tony's AUDelicious, Labatt, and the "Save of the Day" Foundation have all gotten together to put on this fun event, and it's all for a good cause!

It's "Comets Hockey For Hope" going on from 1pm to 4pm at Tony's AUDelicious in Utica. You have a chance to play games with Comets players - anything from bubble hockey, to shooting a game of pool (I'm in for that one!), and have your drinks served to you by a member of the Comets team.

There's even a raffle and auction items, anything from signed Comets items to jerseys, even a chance to have lunch or dinner with a Comets player!

All the money raised from this event is going for a great cause - The Alzheimer's Association (oh, and it's local too. It's being donated to the Central New York Chapter). The CNY ALZ Chapter is the only organization in our area that supports those who have been diagnosed with the heartbreaking disease, and fights for finding a cure.

It's going to be a fun afternoon at Tony's AUDelicious! If you want to hangout with the Utica Comets this Sunday, you can pick up tickets in advance at Tony's AUDelicious and at the Fan Zone during Comets games. (First 200 people to get their tickets in advance also get a free T-shirt for the event). Tickets are only $10, and children under 12 can get in for free. You can also purchase your tickets at the door on Sunday (for the same price).

I'm so excited for this great event, and the chance to meet our Utica Comets players in person! Plus, the fact that they're helping out this wonderful cause - well, that just makes me love them even more!

I'll be out there this Sunday - and I hope you see you out there, as well. Look for me by the pool tables!
