Happy 90th Anniversary Thendara Golf Club

This morning Tookey & I took a trip to Old Forge and joined in on the anniversary celebration happening at Thendara Golf Club. All the pros have been there; Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Sam Snead and Lee Trevino just to name a few.

And then he arrived, senior pro Barry Cheesman. Barry “The Big Cheese” Cheesman was in the top ten for driving distance every year he played on the PGA tour. Before he played the popular Thendara public course, he gave the crowd a few tips on holding a club and hitting the ball.

Here he is pictured (dark blue shirt) with Thendara Club members. If you can get there by 6 tonight, you can enjoy a cocktail with this golf legend.
