Bathing suit season is coming. Have you packed on a few pounds this winter? If the thought of trying on bathing suits makes you cringe, read on for some foods that will help you eat less.

The good news? None of these foods are bizarre or taste dreadful. This list comes from Redbook magazine.
1. Dark chocolate. Another reason to love chocolate. Eating some dark chocolate before a meal helped people eat fifteen percent less at their next meal, according a to study by the University of Copenhagen. It must be dark chocolate not milk chocolate. Don’t overdo it. Just a small piece will do.
2. Miso soup. Thanks to the soybean paste used in this soup, it’ll help slow digestion and control your hunger. Plus, it’s really low in calories too. Less than fifty calories a cup.
3. Pumpkin. Don’t save it for the fall and that big Thanksgiving feast. Just a cup of pumpkin gives you seven grams of fiber, which will keep you feeling full.
4. Eggs. With seven grams of protein in a single egg, those hunger pangs won’t be a problem, especially if you eat them for breakfast.
